A closer look at a clinical question

A 52-year-old woman with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis takes levothyroxine and a statin. She reports fatigue and brain fog. Her TSH is in range.

Example question: “What else should I review?” ClarityTX can help you explore considerations like these, with sources to check:

  1. 01

    Medication and symptom review

Review when symptoms began, recent medication changes, and other possible causes before attributing fatigue to one treatment.

  2. 02

    Calcium, iron and levothyroxine

Ask about calcium carbonate and iron supplements. They can reduce levothyroxine absorption; review timing against the prescribing information.

  3. 03

    Biotin and thyroid tests

Ask about biotin-containing supplements, which can interfere with thyroid test results. Review supplement use before interpreting the labs.

These are prompts for your review, not recommendations. You decide what applies to your patient. Levothyroxine prescribing information. Try it with your own question

In their own words

From clinical practice

The work continues after the appointment. Here’s how practitioners describe bringing the patient’s story back into the plan.

“Patients feel supported, and I’m no longer guessing about adherence.”

“One of the hardest parts of integrative care is knowing what patients actually do after they leave. ClarityTX’s follow-ups show me what they started, what they stopped, what they’re struggling with, and whether they want help. Patients feel supported, and I’m no longer guessing about adherence.”
“With ClarityTX, their progress is connected directly to the treatment plan.”
Trent MayerLongevity health coach

“Before a follow-up visit, I used to spend valuable time reconstructing the story—reviewing the original plan, searching through messages, and asking the patient what had changed. With ClarityTX, their progress is connected directly to the treatment plan. I can review what is working, identify concerns, and see suggested areas to address at the next visit before the patient arrives. That makes the appointment more focused, more productive, and much more personalized.”
