Questions about Clarity

Is Clarity HIPAA compliant?

Clarity is not currently HIPAA compliant. Use de-identified information only. Do not enter or upload protected health information (PHI). HIPAA compliance work is underway. This applies to chat, uploads, saved plans, and patient follow-ups. Do not use invitations or check-ins to collect identifiable health information while this work is underway.

What happens after the 14-day free trial?

Continue with the Individual plan at $79 per month when you choose to subscribe. No credit card is required for the trial, and it does not automatically start a paid subscription.

What is the clinician’s role in Clarity?

Clarity’s clinical knowledge starts with clinician-built, clinician-reviewed monographs and clinical reference content. AI helps you explore that knowledge and prepare drafts. You bring patient context, review the evidence, shape the recommendations, and make the clinical decisions.

How do patient follow-ups work?

Create a check-in from a treatment plan and email or share the link. Patients respond without a Clarity account, reporting how they feel, what they are taking, and any concerns. Their responses return to your follow-up inbox, linked to the plan, for your review. You decide what happens next; check-ins are not continuous monitoring or an urgent-care channel.

Who is Clarity for?

Practitioners who use—or want to incorporate—nutrition, supplements, botanical medicine, and lifestyle alongside conventional care. Physicians, naturopathic clinicians, pharmacists, and nutritionists/coaches can use Clarity within their scope of practice. You do not need to identify as an integrative specialist.

Can I ask a quick question, or do I need a full case?

A question is enough. Ask about a supplement, compare options, explore a lab question, or discuss a de-identified case. Follow up in the conversation. Protocol Copilot is available separately when you want to build a complete plan.

Can I try Clarity without a credit card?

Try the full workspace free for 14 days. No credit card required. Create a free account to ask clinical questions, explore monographs, and try building a treatment plan. Review your current usage and plan options in your account.

What happens after I sign up?

Use Google, email and password, or an email sign-in link to create your account. A question entered here is carried into signup. No payment is required to start, and email verification and profile completion do not block initial app access.

Why try Clarity if I already use a general AI assistant?

Clarity brings clinician-built integrative knowledge into a connected care workflow: inspect evidence, review medication–supplement interactions, build an editable treatment plan, and prepare patient instructions. Patient check-ins bring reported progress and actual treatment use back beside that plan, organized by patient, to inform your next clinical decision.

How do I know what supports an answer?

Review the cited sources and available monographs. Clarity is designed to distinguish human research, clinical-reference guidance, traditional use, and mechanistic reasoning. Check the source, its limitations, and whether it applies to your patient; a citation alone is not proof.

Does Clarity replace clinical judgment?

No. Clarity supports integrative clinical research and reasoning. It does not replace a clinician, emergency care, or comprehensive prescribing resources. Review recommendations and relevant safety information before using an answer in care.

Can I enter patient details?

Clarity is not currently HIPAA compliant. Use de-identified information only. Do not enter or upload protected health information (PHI). This applies to chat, uploads, saved plans, and patient follow-ups. Do not use invitations or check-ins to collect identifiable health information while this work is underway.

Can I tailor answers to my approach and practice?

Tailor answers is included in your 14-day free trial. Open Chat and choose Tailor answers in the top bar. Set the clinical emphasis, concise or detailed writing, practitioner or patient language, and your role or specialties. Save your preferences for future conversations, then ask your next question. Ayurveda, naturopathic and integrative practice, nutrition, botanical medicine, and other approaches are supported. These preferences apply to chat answers; Protocol Copilot has separate configuration.
